KARACHI: On Sunday, Sindh Culture Day, celebrations are held with enthusiasm throughout the province and the nation.

On the first Sunday of every December, the day is celebrated.

To highlight the Sindh valley's centuries-old culture, a number of cultural, government, and non-governmental organizations held seminars, rallies, and conferences on this occasion.

Wearing Sindhi topi and ajrak, the traditional block-printed shawls, in cultural attire to highlight Sindh's centuries-old rich culture.

To commemorate the occasion, a significant number of individuals—political workers, leaders, NGOs, students, laborers, villagers, associations, and workers—purchased the traditional Topi and Ajrak.

The proprietors of the shops also increased the prices because of the rising demand for Topi and Ajrak.

In his message for Sindh Culture Day, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that this day teaches us to respect all traditions and customs without bias.

He declared that today is the day to oppose extremism, racism, and discrimination.
