ISLAMABAD: The contempt of court case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has been postponed for a week by the Supreme Court (SC) on Friday.
The case was heard by a larger bench of five members, headed by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial.In the contempt of court case, the Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has provided additional evidence.
Additionally, the ministry provided various video clips of the PTI's lengthy march on May 25.
In the contempt case, PTI Chairman Imran Khan has already submitted his response.The responses have also been submitted by Faisal Chaudhry and Babar Awan, Imran Khan's legal counsel.
Through advocate Salman Akram Raja, the former premier provided his response in the contempt of court case, in which he stated that the SC order of May 25 was "not knowingly violated."
The parties' evidence will now be examined by the larger bench.
It should be noted that the previous administration took Khan to the Supreme Court for violating its instructions regarding his previous sit-in in Islamabad.
