Conducting elections in three months will be a test of neutrals, Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan
Prime Minister Imran Khan rejected the idea of action against former Army Chief General (ret.) Qamar Javed Bajwa after coming to power.
In a meeting with senior journalists in Lahore, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the quarrel with Bajwa is not about him. It will not be correct to say that they will take action against Bajwa after coming to power.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that General (Rtd) Qamar Javed Bajwa had been told that there were corruption cases against Shahbaz Sharif. General Bajwa stressed the need to end the corruption cases and improve the economy. We found out that corruption is not only General Bajwa's issue.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he told General (Rtd) Qamar Javed Bajwa that if 10 to 12 big corrupt people are caught, everything will be fine.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that when General Faiz Hameed was transferred from the post of DG ISI, the plan to topple the government was made.
He said that if the elections are not held, then Pakistan will directly default; if the country defaults, the country will fall far behind.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the federal government has crashed; there are funds in the provinces, but they are making sacrifices. After the dissolution of the two provincial assemblies and the resignations of Tehreek-e-Insaf members of the National Assembly, when 66 percent of Pakistan will have elections, they will also come to their senses.
Prime Minister Imran Khan further said that the new army chief, General Asim Munir, has said that he will remain neutral. Conducting elections in three months will be a test of neutrals. If the organisation of the army is used properly, the country can be saved from crisis.
Prime Minister Imran Khan further said that if there was corruption in our era, would we have only raised the watch case? Tosha Khana is not a museum. If I had not bought the watch, I would have bought another one at the auction.
